*POOOF* Lot of dust on this thing....

Hello my adoring public....all three of you!

I figured since I'm home on a Friday it's time to do another random blog post. I booked today off as a vacation day to prepare for the INVASION OF THE PARENTS but woke up sick as a dog and am barely getting from one room to another without needing to sit down and breath hard. sigh.

General updates include my weight loss. I'm now at 33 lbs gone. I LOVE IT! I love being back in all my skinny clothes, including some that I had bought during my previous weight-loss that I never wore because I never got my body in the shape it's in now. I joined my work's gym and started going to strength training classes twice a week back in February. They were running and "Biggest Losers" program for 10 week and were letting anyone in the company go to classes without paying for them. I got majorly hooked. The bar bell that I'm now using has 34 lbs on it wich is pretty cool since I started out with 14. I can tell a difference in the fact that my body is shaping differently then the last time I lost weight. I HAVE PIPES PEOPLE! WEEEE!!!!

The food aspect is always a challenge. ALWAYS. I have days when I can say no to anything and not have a hint of remorse. Then there are days when everything is sucked into the black hole otherwise known as my mouth. Every day is a new day and every week I see success on the scale is a victory.

The Boy is great. We had his Senior K. graduation pics taken back in May and should be getting those back soon. He is going to be starting Grade 1 next year. FULL TIME SCHOOL! It's going to be a big change for all of us.

Work is going awesome right now. I'm the only full-time person left in a office of 5 when I was first hired. I'm overwhelmed right now but that is job security right? My part-time x-hippie was diagnosed with something this week and will be off for the next 6 months to a year dealing with it so I'm going to be getting another couple seniors in to help out. I'll get them trained on all the basic stuff and then keep the complicated for me. It's going to be fun scaring them by telling them there is a margin for error of ZERO. You file it in the wrong place it's lost forever.

I GOT MY GARDEN PLANTED THIS YEAR!!! Imagine that! It only took not playing an MMO game during the warm months. Although Age of Conan is being very tempting right now.....NO! Must remember the motto, NO MMO UNTIL THE SNOW! J and I both want to be out and about this summer. Enjoy the deck and the garden and go for walks, do volleyball and stuff. We've said we'll upgrade Berlin (my gaming maching) and Athens (J's gaming machine) in the fall and install Conan then. I have in my trough planters 8 herb plants, I did a flowering planter for "the pretty" and I did tomatoes, hot peppers, romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce, and green beans in the veggie garden. I'm having fun weeding already!

My dad and uncle were totally AWESOME and installed our new master bedroom window a couple weeks ago. We now have the ability to put an air conditioner there! WEEEEEE!!! No more hiding in the basement guest room during heat waves! We also re-did the upstairs bathroom in a light-LIGHT-lavender. It matches the existing tiles very nicely and we also patched all the house the last yahoo's who owned the house did. We painted all the trim white and replaced all the hardware too. New towel bars, TP holder, robe hookes and stuff. A little later in the summer we are going to be replacing our front porch as well. That should finish us off for home improvements for a couple year. The broken stuff will have been all fixed. The next BIG step is going to be replacing the side deck with a porch, scraping out and re-paving the drive-way, elongating the fence, and laying down patio stones. This is going to all have to be done in the same year for it not to look like crap.

Anyway, all systems are a go and life it good. Summer is going to be busy with us going to Fredericton in July, Boston at the first of August, and Cobourg/Toronto at the end of August. Should be fun!

Ciao for now!
