This movie rocked my world. It was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. I can't describe the heartbreak this movie gave me....

I have to agree. I'm not certain exactly what I expected, but whatever it was, the actual movie was "more" of it. Very tense, very dark, very edgy, and Mal was operating on a new level of barely-contained-rage he never touched in the series. Almost a difficult movie for the really passionate fans, as, well, Joss makes you pay for your love. You'll see.
I loved this movie.. and everything that it ties up. However, my wife never saw the T.V. series and was completely lost. (My B-day, so she demanded that I take her to a movie I want to see)
So, in short.. for those who watched the show it rocked. For those who have not, WTF!
